Welcome to Indian Ocean Yachting. If you have a passion for wanting to get out and do some ocean sailing then we can help.
We provide coastal yachting experiences  for people who:
  • Want to try a longer ocean passage
  • Want to have a chilled out adventure
  • Need to build miles or passages for marine qualifications
  • Want to learn about passage making without the stress
  • Try coastal navigation
We know  when you set out on your first longer passage there is a lot to think about it.  Going out first with a couple of guys who know the ropes  is a good way to start and build confidence. 

We believe in safety and fun - finding out what it is like to sail and live   aboard an ocean going yacht. Being safe drives our thinking - if you feel safe you  have fun - it's simple. 

Passages can be day or night and we have weekend sailing so you can sleep on board while underway.  We plan around weather systems to generate different experiences of wind and sea state.

Daniel is an RYA qualified  yachtmaster. He has a background in racing dinghys as well as big boat cruising and is an expert on getting the most out of the sails.

 Daniel's  approach is mentor and coach but  can teach you specific skills if you need. Daniel's aim is to create an experience where you can learn about passage making  without the stress of a formal training program.
